    Diploma in Theology - 4 Semesters

    Admission Requirements:
    (Post-Secondary two year course) Candidates with any one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission:
  1. Graduate of SHTC Certificate in Religious Education course or its equivalent with pass not less than 40%.
  2. Four passes at Credit Level including English Language and Bible knowledge in at most two sittings.
  3. Grade II Teachers Certificate (pass) in not more than two sittings.

    Bachelor in Theology - B.Th – 6 Semesters/8 Semesters and Sandwich program - 5 Contacts Session / 6 Contacts Sessions

   Admission Requirements:
  1. SSCE/NECO/GCE five passes at Credit Level including English Language and Bible knowledge in at most two sittings. Diploma and NCE and Degree holders from recognized institutions are at an advantage.
  2.  Teachers Grade II Certificate with 5 credits including English and Bible Knowledge in not more than two sittings.
  3. Diploma in theology graduates of other theological institutions recognized by SHTC with pass not less than 50%.
    The cost for the purchase of form is N10,000.00

    Master of Divinity and Theological Studies – 4 Semesters

   DURATION: This programe is designed for candidates with a theological degree (B.Th). The course will run for four semesters.
   Admission Requirements:
  • A minimum of first degree in theology from a recognized theological / higher institution with GPA not less than 3.0 or not lower than Second Class Lower.
  • Five O’ Level credits including English Language in one sitting or Six Credits in not more than two sittings. Candidates with less than 3 O’ Level Credits should have diploma in Theology from a recognized theological college.
  • Every prospective candidate is required to present a letter from three referees. One must be from the candidate’s pastor testifying to the candidate’s salvation experience and involvement in the church.
  • Graduates with Third Class may also apply after a minimum working experience of 5 years in related fields.
  • Pass the School’s interview with evidence of calling.
   GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Complete minimum of 45 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Successful completion of a Thesis and Defense with a minimum of B grade of 50%.
  • Complete programme of studies within one and half years (18months) but not more than two and half years (30 months). Failure to complete within two and half year will require an application for one year extension.
  • Evidence of Christian Maturity.
